What is Aquantica ?
Aquantica is a project aimed to ensure access to free and clean water across the world. By placing water dispensing machines across cities we provide free and filtered water to residents and tourists at no cost. Aquanitca aims to reduce the use of plastic bottles and give an alternative to contamination of the environment through free reusable aluminum bottles. The financing of the project happens through the advertising space on the screens integrated in the surface of the water dispensing machines.
Water is a human right
On july 28th , 2010 the UN general assembly officially Recognized
the right to safe and clean drinking water and sanitation as a human right that is essential for the full enjoyment of life and all human rights; calls upon States and international organizations to provide financial resources, capacity-building and technology transfer, through international assistance and cooperation, in particular to developing countries, in order to scale up efforts to provide safe, clean, accessible and affordable drinking water and sanitation for all. (UN. General Assembly (64th sess. : 2009-2010)
Aquantica shares this principle as we aim to provide access to clean filtered and free drinking water across the world. Our goal is to bring the UN’s idea to life, by ensuring access to clean free water and lowering the environmental impact through decrease in use of plastic bottles.
